Landia
A hackable 2D multiplayer game world for reinforcement learning agents. Humans are welcome too.
Landia is a lightweight 2D game framework, written in Python, built as a playground for training AI agents. It began as a side project called SimpleLand and later became part of piSTAR Lab.
It comes with a few game modes that can run at the same time:
- Capture the flag
- Survival: collect food or die, and avoid the monsters
- Tag and infection tag
It also has a crafting system, network play, an admin view for watching multi-agent matches, and an OpenAI Gym interface for single-agent training. New game modes, objects and maps are easy to add.
